The refurbished roof also provided a suitable foundation for the client’s proposed solar panel installation, supporting their wider energy efficiency and sustainability objectives.
- Gutter Refurbishment: Installation of the HD Sharman Plygene gutter lining system, providing a durable, seamless solution designed to prevent water ingress, improve rainwater management and extend the service life of the existing gutter infrastructure.
Health & Safety ManagementGiven the building’s importance to the local community, maintaining a safe working environment throughout the refurbishment was a key priority.VBS Ltd implemented comprehensive health and safety measures, including:
- Plant & Machinery: Provision of all necessary plant, lifting equipment and machinery to ensure the safe unloading, handling and installation of materials throughout the project.
- Access & Safety: Installation of appropriate scaffolding and access systems to provide safe working conditions at height, with measures implemented to protect both the workforce and members of the public.
