VBS have been one of my main contractors for over 5 years, carrying out small building refurbishments, to large re roofing contracts. As Bury MBC's Building and Facilities Officer I regularly call upon the expertise of VBS to carry all natures of small to large projects, as I know from the moment the call is placed the works will be carried out efficiently, effectively and professionally. All works VBS have carried out for me have met the standards to which I and the Council require. Working for the Local Authority places strict guidelines on VBS for Health and Safety one of which has meant that they have had to become a member of CHAS (Constructors Health and Safety Scheme) being a member of this alleviates any concerns I would of have with their health and safety methods during construction, being as professional as they are means all sites are run to the high standards of Health and Safety expected of them by the Local Authority. VBS have undertaken many varied projects over the years from simple repair to office flat roofs to full building cladding. In the time we have dealt with VBS I have found them to be very professional in their approach to the task and have never had cause to ask them back to rectify substandard work. I have watched their staff develop into conscientious tradesman that has pride in their work enabling us to leave them to complete their task with little or no supervision. Their Health and Safety record with our company is exemplary as we have had no cause to question any of the staff with regard any form of Health and Safety infringement. September 2009 V.B.S. has provided an excellent service to our Accrington site for many years. They are a close family run company who provide a safe, quick, friendly and professional service to all customers at all times.
