Translucent Roof Sheet Replacement

Defective and ageing profile rooflights can often be the cause of roof leaks or insufficient light levels. GRP Translucent sheets deteriorate over time and become less effective at allowing natural light to penetrate the building.

If a glass roof panel i.e. Georgian Wired Roof Lights and Northlights gets damaged in any way, this will lead to displacement and causes a Health and Safety issue. These can be replaced with a like for like Georgian Wired glass or a polycarbonate system.

Over the years VBS has found from feedback given by our client’s enhanced natural daylight into the work area increases staff morale, productivity and reduces energy costs.

Many industrial buildings require a source of natural light and therefore have rooflights incorporated into the roof covering.  Rooflights can be of various materials and design such as GRP Translucent sheets, Georgian Wired roof lights, Northlights and dome lights. VBS Ltd specialise in replacing all types of rooflight with an existing system or an up to date system.

VBS Ltd completed this project of replacing the transluscent roof sheets to a factory roof in Burnley, the pictures show a before, during and completed project.
